AAM/Branch Manager (Herat, Afghanistan)


Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:    

Should be experienced and ambitious branch manager to oversee all functions of Branch Overseeing the daily activities and duties at branch is the direct responsibility of a AAM. to implementing business strategies. Applicants should have a good combination of analytical and communication skills as well as the ability to adapt to a constantly evolving industry landscape. The ideal candidate should be excited about building a great team and establishing a good rapport with new and existing students in the area. Who should be natural leaders who know what it takes to guide a team to success in a new business region. The successful candidate will value teamwork, transparency and accountability above all else.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Conduct Daily morning briefings and assign tasks and targets to their respective teams,
 Prepare and submit Daily, Weekly, Quarterly, Half-yearly and Annual Reports.
 Assigning team targets & tasks.
 Achieving targets assigned by management,
 Coordinating with different departments to ensure the smooth function of Campus.
 Manage the financial expenditure of the branch, ensure that spending is within budget requirements.
 Identify and communicate with Schools, Colleges, Institutes for Business campaigns, advertising, and promotions.
 Coordinate with the Marketing department and establish marketing and sales strategies.
 Develop, plan and maintain effective security controls to ensure the safety of students, staff, and the property.
 Ensuring sustainable and profitable business growth.
 Conduct office management tasks
 Implement measures to provide motivation for employees
 Oversee student service team and counselor team and assess that they are meeting Student satisfaction goals
 Prepare, revise and submit reports, budgets and other documentation as and when requested by Management
 Communicate information to the departments filtered for management
 Perform training sessions for counselors and SSE team with the assistance of an international consultancy.
 Implement quality management and regulatory compliance strategies with the aid of the quality control team.
 Review student reviews and students related statistics and timely report the respective HOD and Top management

About Muslim English Language Institute:

Muslim English Language Institute (MELI), established in 2002, has continuously striven to build an inclusive knowledge society through an exclusive program. We have tried to increase the interest of learning English by offering contemporary and comprehensive curriculum and high-quality teaching methodology. We began by offering DEL Program in 2002 with the strength of 200 students. Today, we serve the educational aspirations of over 40,000 students from all over the country. In addition, more than 30,000 students have successfully graduated from our institute with knowledge, wisdom and nationwide serving capacity. We have four campuses located in key locations of Kabul City with our main campus located in Dehbori 3rd District. For now, we have three provincial campuses in Herat, Mazar-E-Shariff and Jalal Abad and other campuses are under construction in other important cities. Job Requirements

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

 B.A, B.sc Physocology, B.sc (Or any Bachelor’s degree) with
 MBA, M.sc Physocology, M.A (MUST)

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES TYPICALLY NEEDED TO PERFORM THIS JOB SUCCESSFULLY: 

  •  Ability to lead, manage and motivate staff
  • communication skills
  • Sales and Marketing skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Should have a go getter attitude and ready to accept challenges and work under pressure.
  • Should have excellent communication skills in English & local languages.
  •  Good interpersonal skills.
  • Proven branch management experience, as a bank manager or similar role
  • Enough knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices
  • Ability to meet sales targets and production goals
  • Familiarity with industry’s rules and regulations
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Results driven, and customer-focused
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

Experience:

 Candidates should have 8+ years prior experience in Management practices.
 Experience preferred from education Industry, Relatil Industry, or FMCG will be an added advantage
