Duties & Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities for the position are:
Handling office tasks, such as filing, generating reports and presentations, setting up for meetings, and reordering supplies.
Providing real-time scheduling support by booking appointments and preventing conflicts.
Maintain contact lists
Book travel arrangements
Maintain office supply inventories
Write Peshnihad, Estilam and memo in light of the direction of the concern staff.
Dispatch require documents to relevant department.
Coordinate maintenance of office equipment
Using computers to generate reports, transcribe minutes from meetings.
Greet and assist visitors.
Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
Any other activities assigned by the line Manager;
The Mission of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) is to ensure the social, economic and political welfare of rural society, especially poor and vulnerable people, through the provision of basic services, strengthening local governance, and promoting sustainable livelihoods, MRRD is responsible for rural empowerment and poverty reduction programs through and effective and affordable social protection policy. The achieve this, MRRD develop and executes effective policies, strategies and programs, undertakes resources, mobilization , monitoring evaluation, research and advocacy and supports coordination and information sharing efforts among the stakeholders. MRRD Currently leads different programs Citizens Charter Afghanistan Project (CCAP), National Rural Access Program (NRAP), Rural Water Supply, Sanitation & Irrigation Program (Ru-WatSIP), Women Economic Empowerment Program (WEE-RDP), Afghanistan Sustainable Energy for Rural Development (ASERD) and Regional Program (RP).
Qualifications/ Experience, Skills & Abilities Required:
Bachelor degree with 2 years relevant experience or baccalaureate degree with 4 years relevant experience with government organization in office administration field (Bachelor’s degree is preference)
Able to work and type letters in computer and familiarity with Ms Office program.
Ability to write and deal with all letters in local languages (Estelam, Peshnehad and Maktoob).
Having good organization behavior and ability to work in a team.

The Administrative Assistant will report to his/Her Direct supervisor .
