Job Description

1- Provide perfectly general and loco-regional anesthesia concerning to the type of operation.
2- Perform physical examination before the anesthesia
3- Check lab result and also advice more lab investigation if necessary
4- Ensure all require medicines and equipment’s for anesthesia is properly prepared before giving anesthesia (review the checklist to ensure all equipment and medicine concerning to their expiry dates are present and precise).
5- Take care of all anesthesia machines and other equipment’s.
6. Familiar with Covid-19 equipment/Ventilators and patients conditions
7- Obtain specialized assistance as necessary (consultation or referral)
8- Identify and report immediately any problem which interfere in the delivery of services or in achieving the program objectives to his supervisor
9- Assignment of any other task by the Medical Director.

Be proactive and take initiatives and work independently.
Ability to prioritize tasks, handle tasks simultaneously, and to work under pressure.
Proven analytical, conceptual and problem –solving skills.

Background

The Medical Management and Research Courses For Afghanistan (MMRCA) is a national, non-for profit, non-political, humanitarian organization established in March 2008 by Afghan Health Professionals and is registered as an NGO with the ministry of economy (MoE) of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. MMRCA has been implementing SEHATMANDI (BPHS+EPHS) Project in Badghis province since 1st January 2019 and will continue until 30th June 2021 on performance management basis. MMRCA has been providing quality health services to the entire population of Badghis Province according to BPHS and EPHS guidelines and MoPH policies/strategies. These services are providing through one Provincial Hospital (PH), one DH, 4-CHCs, 19 BHCs, 21 PHCs, two MHTs, one Prison Health Center, 3 FHHs and 311 HPs. MMRCA invites and encourage eligible candidates to apply for the position of Anaesthesia Technician located at Chartaq CHC+ in Badghis Province.

Job Requirements

Anesthesia Technician/ Nursing (with one year experience in Anesthesia).
Fluent in Dari and Pashtu and working Knowledge of English.
One year experience in Anesthesia.
