Anaesthesia Technician (Badghis, Afghanistan)

Job Description:Specific Responsibilities: 1- Provide perfectly general and loco-regional anesthesia concerning to the type of operation.
2- Perform physical examination before the anesthesia
3- Check lab result and also advice more lab investigation if necessary
4- Ensure all require medicines and equipment’s for anesthesia is properly prepared before giving anesthesia (review the checklist to ensure all equipment and medicine concerning to their expiry dates are present and precise).
5- Take care of all anesthesia machines and other equipment’s.
6. Familiar with Covid-19 equipment/Ventilators and patients conditions
7- Obtain specialized assistance as necessary (consultation or referral)
8- Identify and report immediately any problem which interfere in the delivery of services or in achieving the program objectives to his supervisor
9- Assignment of any other task by the Medical Director. Professional Competencies: Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and to work effectively with staff of HFs
Be proactive and take initiatives and work independently.
Ability to prioritize tasks, handle tasks simultaneously, and to work under pressure.
Proven analytical, conceptual and problem –solving skills.
Excellent anesthesia skills
