Job Description
PURPOSE: Carry out all cashier duties in Kabul Afghanistan, in accordance with organizational regulations and professional standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily booking of all approved transactions and reconciliation of cash using double entry bookkeeping system.
Ensure that all expenses include the necessary supporting documentation and are properly coded and authorized.
Manage the office cash in safe and reconcile daily.
Reconcile office general ledger accounts; provide fully reconciled reports detailing income, expenditure, and cash reconciliations.
Maintain an efficient, proper, and transparent financial filing system of all documents relating to finance.
Ensure the timely and accurate preparation and recording of monthly Sponsorship funds, in close coordination with Sponsorship and Logistics staff.
Ensure the timely clearing of office advances (official and personal) and report any issues to the Finance Manager.
Ensure accuracy and validity of invoices against LPO’s/Contracts and liaising with user departments to confirm receipt of goods and services.
The Cashier has access to sensitive and confidential information and is expected that she or he will act with outmost discretion and integrity.
Conduct stiped distribution and closely monitor the process to make sure the distribution process is according to WfWI established policies & procedures.
Reconciliation of stipend record with program team database on monthly basis and report any abnormal balances on time to Finance manager.
Keeping the record of unpaid participant and share the update information with finance manager on timely manner for reconciliation purpose with Intacct financial system.

Job Requirements
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
At least a Diploma; additional post-secondary studies an advantage.
At least two (2) years of relevant work experience, preferably in the NGO sector.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with close attention to details.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
Good computer skills and proficiency in MS Office applications.
Strong commitment to honesty, integrity, and transparency.
Good spoken and written English is added advantage, and local language is required.
