Major Duties and Responsibilities:
The basic role of this position is effective community mobilization to implement the Sustaining Essential Services Delivery Project. The post holder will ensure that project activities are well understood and accepted by the target community that developed through proper community mobilization and also ensures that the neediest and eligible beneficiaries are selected based on the project criteria.
Reporting directly to the Project Coordinator. Specifically, the community mobilizers will have the following responsibilities:

Male: June to Feb 2022 (8 months)
Female: July to Dec (6 months)
Direct program implementation:
Developing and implementing all mobilization activities for project beneficiaries. Make sure that appropriate community mobilization curricula, materials, and discussion guidelines are prepared, reviewed, updated, and followed. Collaborating with project coordinator to design community mobilization strategy. Supporting conducting project-relevant data collection in the project coverage area. Working with other project staff to select project implementation sites and project beneficiaries. Socialization and verification of project beneficiaries based on the project selection criteria. Providing on-time support and information sharing with project beneficiaries in any event or time of package distribution.Sensitization on COVID-safe practices to adopt during (i) farming and vegetable cultivation and (ii) market participation. Making sure that the right information reached the target beneficiaries about the procedures of receiving inputs and other relevant materials and technical trainings, etc. Any other tasks required by the line manager.
Supervision:
Mobilizing and Making communities aware of project objectives, outputs, activities, and M&E systems. Facilitating project and activities information at all events preparing and implementing action plans for quality monitoring. Facilitating project and activities information at all events such as distribution and COVID-19 information sessions.
Reports and coordination:
Coordination of the NACs activities under the agriculture project and building effective coordination and cooperation among all stakeholders.Data collection and writing periodic reports weekly, bi-weekly and monthly reports, besides the distribution reports which should be done after each distribution of the project inputs to project beneficiaries.

Job Requirements
- High school graduate/ bachelor is preferred
- Having community mobilization skills
- Preferred working background distribution programming
- Preferred working experience in implementing agriculture projects
- Preferred those with background in emergency programing and KOBO assessment.
- Preferred couples with the required qualifications

- Good skills of coordination and cooperation with local communities
- Should have an understanding of local norms and culture
