Job Description
- Review of key documents necessary for the survey Development of workplan and conformity to scheduled timeframes Determine samples and sample sizes Develop the questionnaire and instruments and submit to client for review and approval; Develop training manual and agenda for field staff training; Develop database for uploading data into Lead consultant to conduct field visits, data collection, and data checking, cleaning, coding Manage the translation of the qualitative interviews Analyze the quantitative and qualitative data Conduct a debriefing session at Kabul Management Office (KMO) by highlighting the main findings prior to further review, incorporation of feedback from SCA and submission of the 1st draft of the final report Submission of inception, draft, final report and any other required reports or documents as reflected in the deliverables Responsible for day-to-day management of the project team members; Responsible for reviewing and approving on daily work done by the project team members; Hold weekly meeting with the project team members to discuss with them the project progress, challenges, and contingency plans; Manage the issuance of invoice to clients, according to the contract ToRs; And other tasks identified during the project;

Job Requirements
- At least a post graduate degree in communications, or social sciences from a recognized university for the lead consultant; At least 5 years practical experience in conducting surveys, especially communication survey or perception survey; Proven experience in evaluations for NGOs and private firms Demonstrated knowledge in quantitative and qualitative data analysis (SPSS, STATA, NVivo, Atlas.ti); Extensive experience in quantitative and qualitative tools designing, training development for field staff, and report writing; Having sound knowledge in quality assurance and/or monitoring and evaluation mechanism; Proven working experience in developing the strategic plan for the national and international NGOs, governments, and donors; Have a good understanding of the aspirations and challenges of rural communities in Afghanistan is desirable. Results-oriented and committed to complete assignments within an agreed timeframe Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written English. Good knowledge of spoken Pashto and Dari for lead local/Afghanistan applicants is desired
