Electrical Design Engineer (Herat, Kabul, Afghanistan)

– Managing the entire Quality Control system.

– Preparation of submittals,

– procurement, storage of materials and equipment.

– Electrical design analysis and calculation for different types of buildings and structures.

– Preparation of detail drawing, shop drawings and as build drawing.

– Create and Manage Electrical drawings based on building specifications, calculations and sketches.
– Analyze and design according to NEC and Afghanistan standard specifications and codes.
e. Use CAD equipment and conventional drafting system to prepare drawings, charts and records.
Develop & manage electrical designs to incorporate into architectural drawings. Prepare drawings showing the detail and method of assembly of devices.

– Visit construction sites to collect measurements and dimensions as needed.

Bachelor of Civil Engineering-Higher would be preferred

Experiences:

• Experience and familiarity of US Army funded projects.
• Awareness of project reporting and management
• Awareness of material submittals.

Skills

• Good Communication Skills (Verbal & Written)
• Should be conversant with design software’s /Calculation
• Engineering software’s (Sap.Etabs and Safe)
• 3D Architectural design is an asset.
•  AUTO CAD (Latest Version) – 3D
•  MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
