The position holder will be mainly responsible for data collection from CBE students by conducting survey of annual status of education report (ASER).  

Key Accountabilities

The main responsibilities of the position holder

The position holder will be accountable to carry out the following key role and responsibilities:

Promotion and Messaging

Attending on one-days training for survey methodology and ASER survey questionnaire and field test.
Data collection and strong support of another surveyor
Communication with villagers and CDCs regarding survey and prepare good environment for conducting ASER survey.
Conduct ASER data collection in Deh Sabz district.
Collect ASER survey data and double check the questionnaire for any missing.
Be sure ASER survey conducting in standards manner and without missing. 
Able to enter the collected data in to KOBO online system,

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

Graduated from 12 grade or related discipline
Very good spoken and written, Pashto/Dari – understanding of English language is desirable.
Able to travel inside Afghanistan and related districts, outside of the duty station as and when required.
Good communication and inter personal relation skills.
Ability to work independently in the field.
A good team player & problem solver.

Additional job responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities set out above are not exhaustive and the post holder may be required to carry out additional duties from time to time which are reasonable in relation to their level of skills and experience.

In the event of a significant humanitarian emergency, the post-holder will be expected to work outside their normal job description; vary their working hours; and occasionally work from a different location should the need arise.
