In Kunduz, HI will start a 12-month intervention that aims to meet the most urgent humanitarian needs of vulnerable, displacement-affected households across the Province, adopting an inclusive lens to prioritize the needs of women, men, girls, and boys with disabilities, elders, and other highly vulnerable households. HI will ensure that highly vulnerable, marginalized displacement-affected men, women, boys, and girls with and without disabilities are supported through immediate MPCA, if feasible according to an initial feasibility study, as well as through the rehabilitation of community assets. HI will coordinate with partners on the ground to ensure a timely, needs-based response to the most urgent basic needs of IDPs, returnees, and host communities across Kunduz province. The response will be developed in close coordination with partners to ensure consistency in the type and timeline of the response, whilst filling potential gaps that may leave some of the key needs unmet. HI will focus on identifying and responding to the needs of vulnerable persons with disabilities, elder people, and their households, ensuring an adapted response.
