Job Description
- Create strong community network to support health, nutrition and food security activities within the targeted provinces. Assist health sector on obtaining the community feedbacks from implementation of health related activities such MHNT, IMAM, IYCF, mental health and etc. Organize the community focus group discussion meeting and dialogue in order to ensure community are happy from the health sectoral project implementation. Provide project orientation to community leadership, Shuras, Health Committees, and other community members and stakeholders. Advocate and obtain community agreement, willingness and participation in OFDA project activities. Liaise effectively between World Vision and community, provide necessary feedback both ways. Provide workshops and arrange meetings with Community leaders, religious leaders, and other community members to enhance cooperation and transparency in project activities and to promote gender awareness. Provide follow up to Health Committees and help them understand and undertake their responsibilities. Provide other MUNCH staff with information on area of operation to guide their conduct and methodology for engaging with communities. Work with Health facility staff, CHWs and IYCF in mobilizing communities for maternal and under % child nutrition health related activities. Develop work plans and compile reports on mobilization activities. Coordinate the densification of the public places including the health facilities and hospital. Other tasks assigned by the Health Sector Lead/Zone manager.

- Adhere to WV Child and Adult Safeguarding policy and standards. Adhere to WV accountability standards. To be aware and prepared to implement WV Afghanistan Humanitarian and Emergency Affairs plan under the context of (targeted province) interventions.
Background

Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification:
- High school graduate, religious education is preferred Fluency in Dari and/or Pashto, both written and spoken
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications:
- Substantial field and community development experience with development projects Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills and detail orientation. Excellent local communication skills (oral and written). Thorough knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel, MS Access and Lotus Notes. Ability to work in and contribute to team building environment. Ability to maintain performance and exemplary lifestyle expectations in diverse cultural contexts, psychologically stressful environments and physical hardship conditions with limited resources.
Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement: cThis is 100% designated field job (Provision of primary health care services in composition of mobile health team in the targeted districts
