Job Description:

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Assistant will provide necessary support to the HR Department. The Human Resources Assistant will directly report to Senior HR Officer and support him/her in terms of vacancy announcement, downloading CVs, preparing long list and other clerical jobs as required. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Advertise vacancies on job sites
  • Download CV and prepare long list
  • Email and Call candidates for interview
  • Copy and scan documents when needed
  • Make sure all the required documents are completed in the personnel files of the staff
  • Tracking of the recruitment status of the assigned positions on daily basis
  • Maintain accurate records of recruitment process and prepare personnel files based on the KMDP given checklist
  • Provide weekly update on the status of the recruitment on weekly basis and report any bottlenecks to the process on timely basis to the Senior HR Officer
  • Maintain hard and soft and hard record of newly recruited staff
  • Preparing Employment contracts and amendment
  • Record keeping of all personnel files
  • Attendance management of all staff members
  • Updating HRMIS on a timely manner
  • Any other tasks assigned by the line manager

About Kabul Municipality, Kabul MunIcipal Development Program (KMDP):

About KMDP

The Kabul Municipality (KM) has received a grant from the World Bank toward the cost of the proposed Kabul Municipal Development Project (KMDP). That builds upon the now closed Kabul Urban Reconstruction Project (KURP) which financed upgrading similar to the works envisaged under the proposed project.

The Kabul Municipality is responsible for implementing Kabul Municipal Development program (KMDP), Eshteghal Zaiee Karmondena (EZ-KAR) and Response for Emergency Aid to Communities and Households (REACH) Projects on behalf of the Government of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. The primary focus of the KMDP is to increase access to basic municipal services in selected residential areas of Kabul City and strengthen municipal finance management of Kabul Municipality and the project development objective of EZ-KAR and REACH projects is to strengthen the enabling environment for economic opportunities in cities (including Kabul Municipality) where there is a high influx of displaced people.

The EZ-KAR Development Objectives are to (i) Support for Afghan Refugees in Pakistan, (ii) Short the term employment opportunities and market enabling infrastructure under IDLG, (iii) Prioritized urban investments in four provincial capital cities, (iv) Market enabling infrastructure and reforms for Kabul Municipality and (v) Project Management, Implementation support and national regulatory reforms
