Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

Collate regional and provincial level data, analyse identify and address IM gaps, and facilitate information sharing between different Child Protection Partners in Center Highlands Region, through updating 5W maps

Coordinate interagency information management activities at the all level and facilitate the creation of interagency relationships and opportunities for cooperation at the Central  Highlands Region (Bamyan, Ghor, and Daykundi).

Identify new information and data requirements to support operations and partners in the region, and support Children in Crisis in gathering and sharing this information and data.

Provide emergency response information management support to Child Protection in Emergency Sub Cluster and Children in Crisis within the  CH region.

Provide Information Management services to support monitoring activities within CP Sector in all emergencies for CIC and CPiE sub cluster at CH Region; in areas of information flows, dissemination, processing, analysis, standard setting and dissemination.

Leverage Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for map production and geographic data management while promoting data standards and harmonized management of geographic data/information.

Organize monthly coordination meeting at Central Highland Region, and share the minutes of the meeting with Children in Crisis AHF project Manager and subsequently to CPiE.

Regularly collect and update the CPiE information management system through collecting and collating information from different CPiE partners across CH Region.

Develop Standardized Database and Data Management and storing system considering the General Data Protection Regulation.

Job Requirements

Professional Competencies:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics or any other related field.

Minimum 2 years relevant experience with NGO/ UN agency or government.

Proven skills to analyse statistical information.

Possesses Advanced Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, functions, etc.)

Ability to translate planning-specifications into technical briefs for data capture and analysis, and vice versa.

Ability to compile and holistically analyze diverse datasets.

Demonstrated information management skills.

Demonstrated understanding of different data collection methodologies.

Experience with relevant software such as ArcGIS, SPSS,

Prior Experience in cluster coordination in an asset.
