Job Description
- Prepare provincial action plan based on malaria project work plan and coordinate the malaria interventions/activities with PMLCP and relevant stakeholders at the provincial level. Ensure access to effective diagnosis and treatment facilities at health facility and community levels (malaria commodities including lab reagent, RDT, ACT, Primaquine, Chloroquine…etc). Collection and review of monthly MLIS/DHIS2 report and provide regular feedback to health facility level for improvement. Facilitate and support the MLIS and DHIS2 data entry process and submit the MLIS hub to NMLCP malaria project manager of related BPHS NGO. Follow up of the MLIS feedback received from NMLCP through malaria project manager of the related BPHS NGO with close coordination of the PMLCP. A regular supply of malaria medicine/LLIN and other commodities to the health facilities and community levels and establish a stock management system to prevent stock-out of essential antimalarial medicines). Prepare project quarterly progress update and submit to malaria project manager Collect and review monthly stock/consumption reports and submit a consolidated quarterly report to the malaria project manager. Facilitate training need assessment process and develop a training plan with close coordination of Malaria project manager, NMLCP and PMLCP. Conduct malaria training using appropriate methodology, training materials, and equipment needed for addressing different target groups under the training program. Prepare malaria training reports, maintain and update the training database. Facilitate and ensure the implementation of malaria & leishmaniasis related IEC activities at the provincial level Conduct regular monitoring & supervision visits to health facilities and community level (health post) and provide feedback to the health facilities and health post and submit the final report to the malaria project manager. Support malaria & leishmaniasis-related operational research and surveys at the provincial level. Participate in national and provincial coordination meetings when required Establish an early warning system, monitor and analyze malaria data and ensure timely detection and response to malaria outbreaks Develop provincial malaria outbreak investigation and response plans with PMLCP according to the national strategy. Ensure outbreak response capacity including contingency stock and access to pre-positioned supplies in the event of an outbreak. Carry out job-related activities delegated by direct supervisors.

Job Requirements
University degree in medicine from MoPH registered medical faculty At least one year’s experience in health system management Working knowledge of English, Dari, and Pashto languages Working knowledge of office software Good coordination and communication skills
