Job Description

Monitor the field activities based on project implementation plan through RRAA’s and donor monitoring and evaluation tools. Coordinate monitoring plan with Project manager and provincial manager and team leaders. Participate in the project’s quality, implementation, particularly through identifying weaknesses and strengths in RRAA M&E issues and report to the management team. Data collection, data entry and data analysis based on project requirements with ensuring from data accuracy and reliability Actively participate in project implementation and coordination meetings Provide M&E verbal and written reports on weekly and monthly basis to project manager Prepare monitoring plans and implement the plans on the projects/program’s sites. Assist project manager in establishing monitoring framework and system to ensure effective implementation of the program including other projects/programs of RRAA. Monitor the overall progress of projects/programs activities implementation on the basis of the work plan at different districts of Badghis province. Monitor the overall reporting system in line to organization policy and procedures and donors’ requirements in order to ensure the reports are providing the required information on the progress of the activities. Conduct visits to the CDCs, Villages and communities to make sure that projects/programs activities are implemented well and reported to project manager. Perform any other program relevant tasks given by line manager. Develop and maintain an M&E filing system. Any other duty assigned by the Project Manager and provincial manager

About Rural Rehabilitation Association for Afghanistan (RRAA): Rural Rehabilitation Association for Afghanistan (RRAA) is a non-profit, non-governmental, and non-political NGO established in 1990. The head office of the organization is located in Kabul, Afghanistan, and delivers humanitarian services in the sectors of WASH, Good governance, Emergency, and Livelihood through its four regional offices in Mazar, Herat, Jalalabad, and central zone in a decentralized manner. This project, which is planned to be implemented by RRAA, is an UNICEF funded project providing Cash assistance on monthly basis to the most vulnerable households in Qala e Naw, Qadis, Moqour and Ab Kamari districts of Badghis province.

Job Requirements

3 years of experience in the M&E section Bachelor’s Degree in Economic, Social science and development Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work as a team player Fluent in Pashto and Dari with skills in English Good self-starter with effective time management skills and high levels of organization Strong skills in coordinating and collaborating with others in partnership Experience working in humanitarian emergencies across multiple areas of Afghanistan Previous experience in NNGOs/INGOs, UN etc. Ability to travel in the targeted districts
