Job Description

Overall management of the HF. Undertake patient consultations and physical examinations and assess and plan treatment requirements. Provide curative care to men, women and children through HF. Provision of primary health care, nutrition and protection services. Accurate, proper and on time records and filling of all HMIS forms as required

Follow all nationals’ Medical protocols and other for case definition and management. Promoting health education Prescribe medicines rationally and submit pharmacy monthly consumption reports to the provincial office. Ensuring rational use of medicine, nutrition supply and other medical and non-medical items. Submit monthly HMIS reports to provincial office, and provide ad-hoc base data/information when needed. Attend all meetings, seminars and training assigned by AYSO To express sympathy and proper attitude against the client Preparation of relevant activities plan and activities report. Identify and report immediately any problem which interferes in the delivery of services or in achieving the program objectives to his/her immediate supervisor. Share knowledge, skill and expertise with the other staff of HF. Daily supervision of the team member and providing support to them. Responsible for proper data collection and monthly report.

Background

Afghan Youth Services Organization (AYSO) is a non-governmental, non-political and non-profit organization registered in 2006 with the Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan. AYSO since its establishment successfully implemented numerous humanitarian projects in urban, semi-urban, and rural areas with different geographical, demographic, and security situations in several provinces of the country. AYSO has been implementing projects such as Health, Education, Capacity Building, Behavior Change, Social Development, Youth Wellbeing, Gender Equality & Equity, Charity, Emergency Aid, Peace & Youth, Researches, Assessments, Studies and Surveys for the different thematic areas. AYSO through the implementation of the numerous humanitarian projects reached the most vulnerable segments of the societies such as; children, women, youth, elders, IDPs, disability and mobile populations, either through its developmental projects or by raising awareness on their rights through IEC/BCC channels, short term courses, seminars and workshops in urban, semi-urban and rural areas. AYSO geographically covers all 34 provinces of the country through either one or more of the above humanitarian services

Job Requirements

Having MD degree/ Nurse diploma from recognized medical faculty. At least 2 years’ full time experience of working as MD To be fluent in writing and speaking Pashto, Dari and working knowledge in English languages. Ability to work long hours, often under pressure Ability to travel remote areas and districts. Good practical skills
