Job Summary:

Under the direct supervision of Program Manager, The Monitoring & Evaluation Expert will work for the ADALAT project, carrying the following responsibilities:

Key Performance Areas:

• Responsible for developing and maintaining as necessary, the project’s monitoring and evaluation system, tools, and procedures.
• Monitor all project activities and progress towards achieving the project output;
• understanding of the logical frame work and recommend further improvement ;
• Develop monitoring and impact indicator for the project success;
• Monitor and evaluate overall progress on achievement of results; and sustainability of the project’s results;
• Provide feedback to the Program Manager on project strategies and activities;
• Provide inputs, information and statistics for weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, success stories and other reports to Project Management Team
• Assist the project personnel with M&E tools and supporting them in their use.
• Develop measurable Outputs and Performance Indicators
• Assist Program Manager in the preparation of reports on the findings and lessons learned from project innovations;
• Prepare Issues Log and Risk Log for the project;
• Conduct surveys, develop survey questionnaires, survey concept notes and final reports
• Any other duties that may be assigned by the Program Manager.

The Afghanistan Justice Organization (AJO) is an Afghan-led, non-profit, and non-partisan organization promotes  democracy, governance and rule of law through project design and management, project performance and evaluation, training and capacity development, policy research and analysis, and public awareness campaigns and advocacy.

Qualifications:

• Must have 3 to 5 years’ experience of M&E. Experience of working with USAID will be an advantage.

Education:

• University degree in Economics, Public Administration, Business Administration, law, Shariah or any related disciplines.

Language Skills:

• Excellent command of written and spoken English, Pashto and Dari
