The IRC is seeking a Business Pashtu instructor, preferably female, to teach female staff working in IRC’s Herat office in Afghanistan. This position will report to the Field Coordinator/Manager. She will be required to develop curriculum for English for the business environment. The position will focus on both written and spoken Pashtu most used in a multi-cultural working environment. The Instructor will be required to first meet with the group of IRC female staff to determine their interests and levels. The Business-Pashtu Instructor will be hired for a span of up to 6 months, and are expected to work approximately 15 hours in the classroom per week

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Education, International Affairs, Business)
- Minimum 3-years’ experience teaching Pashtu in a business context Possess expertise to develop course curriculum and carry-out Pashtu instruction Capacity to develop instructional materials and be able to assess student needs and progress.
