Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Community mobilization, need assessment, technical survey and assessment of infrastructure projects in targeted districts/areas at NAC CRO & SRO targeted villages.
  • Drawing, design and estimation of infrastructure projects in DRR, NRM and education sectors at NAC CRO & SRO targeted villages.
  • Proper daily supervision and monitoring of infrastructure projects according to the schedule at NAC CRO & SRO targeted villages.
  • Supervision of all infrastructure projects according to the weekly schedule in different areas/villages within targeted districts.
  • Excellent community mobilization for active contribution in projects implementation.
  • Compare bill of quantities with project progression, also project construction time line with routine progress of project.
  • Ensure that all work qualities are according to the technical specifications and acceptable standards.
  • Instruct head of CDCs/Community representatives, skilled and non-skilled laborers to carry out their activities in according with work specifications and appropriate site management standards.
  • Safe, proper storage and control of materials, tools & fixed assets in the project site & daily control on usage of them.
  • Keeping proper and correct records of labours attendance in the field.
  • Keeping regular record of materials and tools of each project in the site.
  • Use NAC system or journal note book for project documentation.
  • Able to handle projects problems and challenges with head of CDCs/Community representatives and school principal in a good manner.
  • Conduct on job masonry training for youth in targeted districts/communities.
  • Report any project problems (with all details) to the close supervisor.
  • On time reporting of activities including his daily performance, weekly and monthly basis;
  • Must be punctual and respect the NAC rule and regulations as well the community cultures.
  • Any other task assigned by supervisor and manger.
