The Social organizer will contribute to on-the-ground implementation of the EZ-Kar project activities, in particular communicating and working with community and CDC members. Tasks will include but are not limited to collecting and reporting information, conducting rapid assessments, developing information networks with local communities and training the community members, CDCs, Gozars and Business Gozars. The position requires frequent travel in the designated communities

Specific Tasks and Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of the City Manager and guidance of the EZ-KAR Project Manager, the Social Organizer will fulfil the following specific responsibilities:
Local coordination
In close coordination with the City Manager facilitate regular and on-going communication with the DACAAR staff in the area, partner organizations, and government authorities, CDCs and communities in Mehtarlam centre of Laghman province.
Conduct training sessions
Carry out training sessions for community members, CDCs, Gozars and local authorities.
Report on the status and outcomes of the trainings.
Oversee and advise CDCs and CCDCs
Inform communities, CDCs and Gozars about the EZ-Kar program, its benefits, and the expectations of community members.
Facilitate CDCs/Gozars/BGOZAR, regarding EZ-KAR project programing, meetings, CDP development, and other events.
Ensure all community members (especially women and marginalized groups) have the opportunity to actively participate in the CDCs and Gozars in a meaningful way.
Mediate any disputes that arise in the community related to the EZ-Kar program.
Frequent travel in the field, sometimes in insecure and/or remote rural areas.
Advise CDCs/Gozars on how to develop monitoring mechanisms and conduct monitoring activities of local officials and government services and programs.
The holder of this position must strictly follow the organization existing security policies, procedures and daily instructions of the safety personnel.
Any other task given by the supervisor
Education/ Qualification and Employment Benefits
Education: 14 Class graduate for female and Bachelor degree for male (Business and Economic degree holders are preferable.
Experience: At least Two (2) year relevant experience is required.
Other qualifications’ an advantage:
Good communication skills, experience in teaching, good community work, adaptation to traditional or local community, honesty and hard worker
Languages:
The applicants should be able to speak both Pashto and Dari fluency & English is Preferred
