Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: Social Worker is the primary point of contact and responsible for project awareness raising activities, distribution of hygiene kits and training of frontline workers.
REPORTING: The Social Worker reports to Project Manager
PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of “Project Manager”, the incumbent of this position will perform the following specific activities:
1. Prepare project operational plans, activities plans and event schedules as per the project scope of work. 2. Contribute in developing role specific awareness material, PowerPoint presentations and other tools for relevant training activities, community dialogues and awareness sessions. 3. Support the project manager in designing the role specific training materials such as spread-sheets, broachers, banners, posters and study materials 4. Play key role in implementing the activities of Key Milestone no. 1,2, 4 and 5 5. Closely communicate with Project Manager, and provide the report on the progress of the activities in timely manner. 6. Collaborate and cooperate with the Community Mobilizers to increase effectiveness of developing quality training materials and maximize the training impacts. 7. Prepare success stories per event highlighting the impact of the project activities on an individual participant or group under this project. 8. Develop monthly activity plans and submit to project manager 9. Prepare weekly progress reports and share with project manager. 10. Report any incident or challenge faced immediately to the attention of the Project Manager for timely assistance and solution. 11. Perform any other relevant task as assigned by the Project Manager.
