Social Worker (Oruzgan, Afghanistan)


Job Description

The position holder is responsible to monitor each classes two times per month, each social worker must monitor all classes under his/her supervision, each social worker must build coordination with SMS members. Generic Responsibilities: A strong commitment to Street Childs vision, mission and values. Adhere to all Street Child’s policies and procedures. Able to represent Street Child appropriately both internally and externally. Carry out all reasonable requests that are within the broad remit of the role. Couching teachers In ACR method and assisting teachers In TICC. Fulfilling digital data collection and submitting It every month In Provincial office. Reporting to line manager every week and sharing every concern regarding classes. Preparing weekly and monthly plan of monitoring and couching of ALP’s and CBE’s classes. Participate in training, supervision and meetings, in district and provincial level. Meeting with SMS and clusters every month and having a meeting with them. Reporting to district Coordinator and Provincial Manager. Sharing classes and teachers’ data with data entry officer when it is required. Assisting district Coordinator stacking JDs of teachers hiring of them.

Job Requirements

Experience and Knowledge:

Dilpoma/Bachelor Degree Holder in social science field.

1-3 years’ experience in related position.

Skills and Abilities:

Fluency in English, Dari and Pashto, written and spoken; proficiency in report writing skills. A flexible approach to working and willingness to work as part of a team. Good communication skills. Data collection on KOBO. Familiar with the society and culture.
