Job Description
- To manage the transport of the of the regional management office, according to transport rules and regulations Assigned the drivers looking to the area, and importance of transport trips after attestation of security unit. Keep proper filing system and documents of all rental vehicles To ensure timely provision of transportation facility after completion of necessary documentation to the program and other support units. To do follow up through phone calls with driver while they are on field missions to the project sites To keep track of the transport documents and keep its hard copies and update the computer database for future record keeping. Check the vehicles conditions and its functionality regularly and report the problems to the logistic officer Take all drivers phone queries and logging all calls. Fuel arrangement for vehicles, record keeping and monitoring of fuel consumption and reporting to logistic officer Keeping record of vehicles maintenance and parts procured. Preparing a work roster for drivers for their weekly and monthly activities. Preparing monthly fuel consumption report and do supervision of the drivers Keep all transport related requests (out of city & intra city) in file for future record keeping. Supervise the maintenance of vehicles with the mechanics and prepare the financial documents Prepare per diems for drivers and their other cost and do clearance with the relevant units. Assisting in internal and external investigation procedures in the event of a vehicle accident etc. To get imprest/advance cash from JRMO finance unit, for managing transport activities and on timely do clearance of the documents with finance unit. Any other task assigned by the line manger
Background

Job Requirements
- University Degree in relevant field such as BBA /BSc, or any other relevant field Fluent in Dari, Pashto, and English, written and spoken Minimum 3-4 years’ experience of Logistics and fleet management is required. Computer skill at operator level, especially with MS Office packages Active and having troubleshooting skills Honest, active, and well mannered Ready to work, live and travel in an intricate and strenuous environment Being an Afghan citizen
