General:

Provincial focal point /Supervisor is responsible To supervising the progress of home to home visit and community engagement on COVID-19 in Ghor (Saghar Dolaina Tolak Taiwara and Lal wa sarjangle) Farah (Anar Dara Bala Bolok Porchaman and Gulistan) and Badghis (Ab Kamari Moqour and Qadis districts) coordinate all the project activities at provincial and district level and provide regular reports to project officer Provincial focal point/Project Supervisor will assist in selection beneficiaries assessment monitoring and evaluation projects implementation.

Job Description

1. The Duties and responsibilities may include but not limited to:

2. Monitor and supervise the progress activities and ensure the targets are met.

3. Develop timely spending plan and work with the team to make that happen.

4. Travel regularly to all project sites to ensure proper implementation of home to home visit and community engagement project to ensure activities are done based on the project proposal.

5. Arrange and coordinate agendas for all official meetings

6. Ensure community mobilizer trainings are conducted based on developed Advocacy manual.

7. Ensures that community mobilizers are able to train the project beneficiary accordingly.

8. Tries to constantly develop technical facilitators through mentoring coaching and modelling;

9. Supervises and provides support to community mobilizer.

10. Ensures to coordinate all the project activities with the related stakeholders at provincial and district level.

11. Establishes working relations and coordination and cooperation mechanism with Health Department and other health stakeholder partner organizations

12. Establish an effective communication and coordination mechanism with all project beneficiaries and organization’s offices

13. Occasionally attends training sessions for project beneficiary;

14. Attends coordination meetings with other organizations MoPH and etc.

15. Supervise and reports preparation on weekly monthly and completion report.

16. Regular communication with project officer in Regional Office on project progress problems occurs security issues etc.

17. Assist in undertaking regular assessment based on the work plan and schedule given by RRAA.

18. Supervise and monitor the progress of the project activities in the area of his/her responsibility.

19. Responsible to monitor the process of interview and selection of target beneficiaries

20. Negotiate with local authority Community Shuras elders to resolve problems.

21. Keep regular contact with other project staff local authority and communities

22. Other duties as assigned by the project officer.
