Compliance Consultant (Kabul, Afghanistan)

Justice for All Organization-JFAO is a non-profit, non-political and non-governmental human rights organization that aims to strengthen the rule of law by increasing access to justice through the provision of free legal services (legal representation, advice, and mediation), holding legal workshops and seminars, conducting advocacy, providing legal awareness programs, distributing publications, providing paralegals in legal aid offices, and building the capacity of law and sharia students by providing legal clinics for training. JFAO aims to seek justice for victims of human rights abuses, particularly focusing on the rights of women, children, and the indigent. JFAO seeks to end violence and discrimination against women and girls in Afghan society, and to increase the economic, political, and social status of Afghan Ministry of Economy since 2008.

JFAO seeks for a full-time Compliance Consultant who will be part of Senior Management team and responsible for monitoring financial and project activities awarded by the Asia Foundation, the donor. The Compliance Consultant will provide efficient and effective contract compliance support to the Organization. S/he will work closely with the Organization’s management including finance, human resource, procurement, and administration units to ensure compliance with all policies, rules and regulations as well as standards necessary for implementation of the projects. The Compliance Consultant will be contracted by the JFAO and will be stationed at the Organization’s office/premises. The Compliance Consultant will comply with all of the JFAO’s relevant staff/employee rules and regulations during the course of his/her contract. Further details are available in next sections.
