Contract Manager (Kabul, Afghanistan)

Job Summary:

The contract manager shall have full authority to act for the contractor on all contract matters relating to daily operation of this contract. The contract manager shall have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in contract management to include monitoring, negotiating, execution, extension, modifications, renewal and closeout of all contract aspects.

Description of Duties:                                       

The contract manager shall have full authority to act for the contractor on all contract matters relating to daily operation of this contract.
Ensure the organization’s internal contract documents are accurate and well maintained
Experience to include knowledge of contractual language, contract lifecycle, legal and financial implications and understanding of the business or industry as well as working knowledge of the FAR.
Meet with customers to discuss both legal and business matters,
Provide advice and guidance to the different teams relating to contract generation
Maintain excellent working relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met
Create, prepare, review and edit all contracts
Provide support and advice on new potential businesses opportunities

Identify opportunities to improve business processes and devise plans to implement these changes

Global Technology is an Afghan owned company working in collaboration of Afghan Government and International agencies in different parts of Afghanistan.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

The contract manager shall have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in contract management to include monitoring, negotiating, execution, extension, modifications, renewal and closeout of all contract aspects.

Additionally, the Contracts Manager shall have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, contract management, or related field.
The Contracts Manager shall have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, contract management, or related field (PMP knowledge and certificate will be an asset.)

Required Skills:

Level 3 English language ability (fluent) is required.

Ability to work with all types of individuals in a stressful environment for long periods of time.
