Job Description

NTA Grade D Step 1 (High)- Under direct supervision of the Senior Project Officer and accountable to cluster focal point, He/She will assist the Senior Project Officer in data management and reporting to cluster, government and donor. Only salary is considered with no other allowances. Specific Duties & Responsibilities: Collecting, recording, analyzing and interpreting data – Enter data relating to the project.
Update and maintain existing databases and generate various statistical reports.
Assist in the development of forms for data collection and analysis.
Collect data and other information relevant to Project and report to the project manager accordingly;
Making sure the correct information is available, updated them on a timely basis and report them to the Project manager.
Maintain comprehensive electronic files for the project, and ensure the project team have access to relevant records Respond to reports from local and office staff, local government, partners and donors. Perform any other duty, as requested.


Watan’s Social and Technical services Association «WSTA» is a humanitarian organization, established in 1992 for the purpose of assisting vulnerable Afghan returnees and IDPs, This organization has been registered with ministry of Economy and has the permission to work in all over the country. As well as WSTA has membership of ANCB, ACBAR and based on code No. WON and registration No. OPS-CR-0535, with estimable UNOPS office. WSTA has received funds from AHF/OCHA 2022 1st Standard Allocation Provision of Life-Saving Food Assistance to 1069 Vulnerable Households of IPC Phase 3 and 4 in Surobi District of Kabul. After the collapse of republic government in Afghanistan, and takeover of Taliban as new authorities in the country, millions of people are suffering from intense food insecurity and according to OCHA; more than half of the country’s population critically need food assistance to survive the crisis. The humanitarian community in collaboration with donors is working to provide life-saving assistance to most vulnerable population in the country. It is in this context that WSTA as a national non-government organization is trying to contribute towards the overall objective through partnership with AHF and other major UN agencies.
The proposed project aims to deliver life-saving in-kind food assistance to 1069 vulnerable households (7483 individuals) in Surobi district of Kabul province, 

Job Requirements

To be able to fluently speak and write English, Pashto, and Dari languages. Candidates without knowing the English Language are discouraged to apply. Training in electronic data processing, information technology or related field. Create and maintain database and spreadsheets that meet operational requirements. To have full access to Ms. Word, Excel, Ms. Access and PowerPoint
Experience in working as database officer is required
Having working flexibly in the early morning and in late evening without any bonus.
