Under the direct responsibility of the Logistic Officer, the Driver is responsible for:

Being responsible for staff transportation on daily bases;
Report any maintenance or repair needed;
Maintain the vehicle travel logbook accurately on a daily basis and submit a monthly report to the Project Administrator;
Be aware of and observe all traffic regulations while driving the project vehicle;
 Duly fill in and submit after each trip, travel claims/documents or any advances so as to become eligible for the next advance;
 Keep the vehicle always clean and in good working conditions;
 Cooperate with all staff in a friendly manner so as to encourage team spirit;
 Make assessment for the need of repair by the help of a mechanic contractor;
Ensure that all the necessary tools and first aid box required in the event of emergency are available in the vehicle before embarking on a field trip;

 Any other duty assigned by Logistics officer or other Senior staff;

About Afghanistan Agricultural production Management Project of MAIL:

Afghanistan Agriculture Production Management Project (AAPMP)- an approved project by H.E the President of Afghanistan, which is one of the leading projects at the Ministry of MAIL, having full coverage of 34 provinces with around 300 districts throughout the country. The motive behind this project was/is to provide with rapid response to COVID 19 by constructing around Ten Thousands construction facilities (Cold Storages) for farmers and assist in eradicating the poverty through creating thousands of jobs opportunities.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

Primary School, preference will be given to 12 grade
Minimum 3 years experience in relevant work.
Good communication skill

Proficient in Pashto and Dari languages
