Female Cleaner (Kabul, Afghanistan)

Job Summary / Purpose:
•   To clean buildings and grounds of the Encashment Centre.
•    Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include tending furnace and boiler, performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs, and cleaning snow or debris from sidewalk.
                                                                                                         
Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• To follow infection prevention (IP) procedure for all cleaning system.
• Cleaning of health facility (Clinic) room, delivery room, bathroom/toilet etc. locations according MOPH IP rule regulation.
• To inform daily OPD ingoing and outgoing patient about cleaning system infection prevention (IP) to be set Clinic cleaning system.
• To obtain good and nice decoration for the rooms /Offices
• Keep the tents and grounds clean
• Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings
• Check all the equipment’s are regularly & nicely washed and cleaned. Notify managers concerning the need for major or minor repairs.
• Have good relation and cooperation with the other colleagues
• Has the full responsibility of the grounds and tents of the office.
• Must obey and work according the time and schedule given by his supervisor.
• Performs any other duty given to him by his supervisor.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Any other duty assigned by the line manager.

Job Requirements:

• At least graduated from high school
• Be able to speak Pashto and Dari languages
• Know all rules of cleaning in formal offices
• Have no disability and be able to go Lalandar district of Kabul

People Management:

•   Attend weekly /Daily/Monthly meetings

•   Communication – encourage respect and open communication

Basic Skills:

•    Knowledge of basic security and fire inspection procedures.

•    Skill in observing situations and decision making.

•    Skill in dealing courteously with public.

•    Any other duties required
