Scope of Work:

The intern will work under the supervision of the assigned Manager and will be responsible to support EZ-Kar staff with their routine tasks and clerical activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Support the Sr. Recruitment Consultant Officer, in longlisting and shortlisting of the applicants.
Support the Sr. Recruitment Consultant Officer, in Performance Appraisal planning and performance management.
Support the HR Unit in conducting induction, leave management, attendance issues.
Support the HR Unit in processing timesheets within the Ministry.
Support the HR Unit in processing and finalizing the recruitment process within the MOEC.
Support the HR Unit in updating the personal files.
Make sure that all documents are recoded properly.
Draft HR letter and correspondence to Ministry and other components.
Arrange HR meeting and writing minutes of the meeting.
Any other tasks assigned by his/her supervisor.

About Ministry of Economy:

General Introduction:

The Eshtighal Zaiee – Karmondena (EZ-Kar) Program is currently under preparation and is expected to be officially launched by November 2018.

The EZ-Kar program is an inter-ministerial effort to improve economic opportunities in cities where there is a high influx of displaced people. Once the program is effective, investments will be made in interventions ranging from the provision of short-term daily wage work for vulnerable households to medium and longer-term support for refugee repatriation, support of regulatory reforms, and market facilitating infrastructure that will improve the enabling environment for the private sector in cities.

The project design as mentioned above will include multiple implementing agencies namely the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), Kabul municipality, and Independent Directorate of Local Governance (IDLG). At the central level, the Ministry of Economy (MoEC) will serve as the lead line Ministry responsible for inter-ministerial coordination among stakeholders within the Government, with the World Bank and other donors, carry out overall management and project oversight across the Implementing Agencies (IAs) and other relevant agencies that are a part of the wider migration response strategy under Displacement and Returnee Executive Committee (DiREC).

The EZ-Kar project will reach Afghan refugees living in Pakistan and citizens within Afghanistan in an estimated 12 cities in Afghanistan namely: Jalalabad (Nangarhar Province), Kabul (Kabul Province), Kandahar (Kandahar Province), Herat city (Herat Province), Puli Khumri (Baghlan), Maimana (Faryab), Firozkoh (Ghor), Khost (Khost province), Asadabad (Kunar), Kunduz (Kunduz province), Mihtarlam (Laghman) and Taloqan (Takhar Province). These cities have been selected based on the influx of returnees and IDPs with data from GoIRA and UN OCHA sources.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics or other relevant fields. The incumbent should be a fresh graduate or has been graduated within the last 3 years (1397,98,99).

Qualification and skills:

Afghan National
The candidate should be graduates of the below years, 1397,98,99.
He/She should have at least basic knowledge of MS. Office package.
He/She should have working English knowledge is preferred.
He/She should have fluency in our local languages, especially Persian and Pashto.
Should be well aware of the organization’s behaviour and attitude.

 

Language:

Fluency in national languages of Afghanistan (Dari and Pashto). Knowledge of English will be preferable.
