Liaison Officer (Kabul, Afghanistan)

For a project with the aim to train and empower returnees from other countries we are looking for a Liaison officer in Kabul

The liaison officer will be responsible to create a network and referral system with organizations caring for returnees. The liaison officer also will be responsible to connect and communicate the project together with the project coordinator to relevant Ministries.

We are seeking socially motivated, caring, open minded and well-educated Afghans who are able to contribute to a civil society project. The project is working from a container and is reaching out to people in surrounding communities and districts. The applicant should be able to work together closely in a small team and should have excellent communication skills. Preferred are applicants who have already a significant experience in social work and with civil society who are committed to contribute to a peaceful society through social and community work.

Afghan national, university degree and having at least three years’ experience with national or international organizations in the related field to liaison officer.
Must be able to create good relationships with relevant ministries, governmental institutions and local governmental bodies for having their strong support towards the project.
In collaboration with the project management provide inputs to regular reports to the donors and counterparts as required.
Recognizing, increasing and upholding stakeholder relationships.
Closely monitor the referrals to and from Ipso to other organizations and provide them with needed support.
Assist or support the relevant project staff in upholding the project’s necessary documentations.
Giving support to team to perform their duties.
Participating in the daily coordination meetings.
Reporting regularly to the management.
Assisting other units/departments.
