Life Cycle Logistics Manager (Kabul, Afghanistan)


Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The Life-Cycle Logistics Manager will be responsible for directing and coordinating program activities that support the deployment, sustainment, and customer support of database.  The Life-Cycle Logistics Manager shall anticipate logistics problems related to operational effectiveness, reliability, availability, and maintainability. The Life-Cycle Logistics Manager shall have experience with directing cross functional teams of technical experts to analyze systems and processes, implementation and sustainment of software updates, and IT improvements of Information Systems.

Description of Duties:

Life Cycle Logistics (LCL) is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive, affordable, and effective systems support strategy that encompasses the entire system’s life cycle acquisition, sustainment (operations and support).

Provide senior-level logistics expertise.
Integrate and plan for the Integrated Product Support Elements (IPSE) in all phases of the sustainment and acquisition processes.
Establish and assist in the planning, developing, coordinating, defending and executing all aspects of the project.
Produce acquisition logistics documentation in support of Company products.
Perform and develop plans and projects, determines needs, investigates and resolves problems, interfaces with other functions and stakeholders, prepares capital assets and operating requests, and manages functional areas.
Direct the activities of a group of applicable stakeholders in order to conduct focused strategic planning and analysis for all life-cycle management functions.

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in systems logistics, business, management, or related technical field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with directing cross functional teams of technical experts to analyze systems and processes,
implementation and sustainment of software updates, and IT improvements of Information Systems.
