Job Description
Under the guidance of the Project Manager/M&E Officer, the intern will work in the GIZ CPA Office, Kabul to get an insight for practical working experience.
The Intern will fully support the Monitoring and Evaluation and will perform the following tasks and others if need occurs:
- Work and learn as an intern in CPA office
- Perform any administrative work based on assignment of the office
- Respecting the GIZ-CPA rules and regulations /security procedures while working
- Getting familiar with the GIZ procedures and documentations
- Assisting M&E officer in processing hard and soft copies and support standard office procedures: e.g.:
- Check hard copies of pre-post-tests trainings with the soft summery sheet of pre-post tests
- Ensure that soft summery sheets are aligned with the standardized hard copies
- Check documents according to criteria e.g. checklist
- Check & Ensure correctness of timesheet and invoices
- Identify issues and suggestions of trainings and compile them in forms
- Assist M&E Officer in filing of hard documents

Under a commission from the German Foreign Office (AA), the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is assisting Afghanistan to improve stability and security by supporting the Afghan National Police (ANP). The aim is to promote a more citizen-oriented and professional police force and strengthen individual and organizational capacities.
The project has two main components 1) Dialogue platforms with related preparation and educational campaigns and 2) Civil conflict resolution for Afghan police officers (conflict management and teambuilding).
Job Requirements
Education:
Students who are nearing completion of their studies or graduated and finished their studies within the last 6 months or a year from Economics, computer science Law or Administration.
Professional Experience (field and minimum duration):
Other Skills and Experiences:
- Good knowledge of Dari/Pashtu and English
- Good knowledge of computer software especially MS. Office package.
