ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and conduct all M&E tasks in the field
Take regular field visits to monitor and evaluate IMC activities in the field including awareness sessions, group counseling sessions and social activities.
Report on all activities in the field through written field reports, provide recommendations and follow up on actions in the field.
Collect data on a regular basis to measure achievement against the performance indicators.
Maintain a strong schedule for follow up and coordination with mobile teams on data sharing and timely submissions on weekly, monthly basis and whenever needed.
Check data quality and accuracy gathered from the field; correct mistakes, identify and solve with the teams issues related to ethical data gathering
Perform surveys and assessments and FGD when needed; develop tools, methodology and train field staff on implementing tools and data gathering information.
Create and upgrade a beneficiary data base and a M&E data base to track activities and achievements against targets.
Follow up with field teams and ensure activities are implemented according to Action Plan.
Produce regular reports on surveys, assessments and activities.
Responsible for the Community-Based Feedback and Response Mechanism (CBFRM); follow up with teams on feedback received and ensure IMC feedback and complaints policy is followed up on
Provide regular trainings to field staff on filling and completing the M&E activity tools, train surveyors/ enumerators, when needed, provide regular training on the CBFRM including training of staff, focal points and how to conduct sensitization in communities.
Develop/ improve beneficiary satisfaction surveys; this includes meeting beneficiaries in person to acquire feedback and update beneficiary activity database accordingly
Adhere to all IMC protocols and procedures surrounding GBV information, beneficiary identifiable information, confidentiality, and security
Liaise with protection officers, GBV project manager and MHPSS coordinator on all M&E needs of the project.
Conduct other M&E activities as needed by project.

International Medical Corps (IMC) is a global humanitarian nonprofit organization dedicated to saving lives and relieving suffering through health care training and relief programs. IMC is carrying out medical relief services in several provinces of Afghanistan.
Job Requirements
Minimum bachelor’s degree required in international development, economics, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an M&E related role.
Good knowledge in protection programming. GBV and / or MHPSS preferred.
At least 2 years previous experience with a humanitarian or non-governmental organization in M&E
Experience in designing and managing beneficiary monitoring and database systems.
Experience in planning and managing surveys, FGD, and key informant interviews
Experience in developing and refining data collection tools.
Experience in managing and providing trainings.
Fluent in English and Pashto.
