Job Description
The Nutrition supervisor supports the Project Manager for the management and implementation of the nutrition component of the project in Faryab province including the provision of MAM and SAM services in the Mobile Nutrition Team (MNT)
Conduct analysis of nutrition screening data, compile reports and share reports with the project manager and provincial manager.
He/she will carry out regular monitoring visits and follow up on the data provided by the nutrition team to ensure the nutrition services are implemented in a timely manner providing qualitative services to both children and women in a cost efficient manner.
He/she will also follow up on the inventory of RUTF/ RUSF and Super-cereals in collaboration with the project manager and nutrition supervisor and alert the project manager on any risk of shortage
In collaboration with the Project Manager and Nutrition Manager organize the training of teams in nutrition-related topics (IMAM Community outreach) as well as any other refresher training according to needs identified.
In collaboration with Project Manager and Nutrition team organization of IYCF services
Ensure the establishment of nutrition mobile team activities and train health facility and CHWs staff in case detection and referral system.
Establish both Stabilization Center, Supplementary feeding programs and Out-Patient therapeutic programs in line with the national guidelines.
Study the nutrition condition of the women and children in the target areas and recommend fort expansion of supplementary feeding program if required.
Preparing weekly, monthly and quarterly plans.
Provide written weekly and monthly activity reports to project donor, provincial manager and project coordinator.
Obey CHA rules and regulations.
Any other duties or tasks assigned by org.

Job Requirements
MD or Nurse and health-related field.
Ability in planning and reporting system.
Have effective communication skills
Fluent in written and spoken Dari, Pashto and local languages
Ability to use the computer and have knowledge in MS office.
Considering the above qualifications, the priority given to those who have experience with similar positions and contexts in Ghor province.
