Job Description:

  • Responsible for maintaining records to testing data, and applying statistical quality control procedure.
  • Three phase Control Inspection Documents.
  • Preparing technical specification’s section numbers and titles for each definable feature of work in order to conduct three phase inspection at site.
  • Tracking QC deficiencies from site and preparing a Corrective action plan in order to convince the Client.
  • Capability of convincing power of make approve and get recommendation response quicker from Client
  • Providing and preparing of QC daily reports and Coordinating QCS Support Operators in order to have all Daily reports and other data up to RMS.
  • Capable to solve their Conflicts and Issues at site.
  • Collecting maintaining and submitting test reports to office for further reports though QCS/RMS.
  • Attending Pre-Construction meeting, Mutual Understanding and other required meetings with client at any time.
  • Coordinating with executive level staff if decision should be confirmed.
  • Responsible for checking material arrived to the site as per approved one.
  • Assure that all materials’ workmanship and construction are in full compliance with the contract plans and specifications, and all applicable building codes.
  • Manage the quality control organization to control the quality of products (aggregates, additives, concrete and etc.) before and during manufacture and at site using a variety of testing devices and procedures to maintain product quality and to minimize costs and achieve optimum quality and efficiency for the company.
  • Direct and coordinate activities of the ready mix concrete, and aggregates quality control group within the division.
  • Lead organization in selecting products for tests at specified stages in production process and tests products for variety of qualities.

Tablieh and Prhoon Tarh joint venture has established in Afghanistan since 2010, for construction of Shah Wa Arus RCC Dam and Hydropower project in north of the Kabul, and also for implement, design of many other projects in Afghanistan. 

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • BSc degree in Civil Engineering, MSc will be preferred.
  • Must have Minimum of Seven (5) years of experience as Engineer in construction projects.
  • Full ability on USACE system.
  • Must have required knowledge of concrete technology.
  • Quality control testing and inspection experience for construction project.
  • Management of a quality control program for a heavy similar construction projects.
  • Strong written and fluent verbal communication skills in Dari and English.
  • Ability to work with and communicate effectively with subcontractors, superintendents, engineering staff, consultants and owner’s representatives.
  • Ability to coordinate and manage inspection staff and inspection and testing subcontractors.
  • Ability to record and organize all necessary documentation to memorialize the implementation, maintenance and effectiveness of the Quality Control Program.
  • Ability to speak clearly and exercise good judgment.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
