Re announce Radiologist (Nangarhar, Afghanistan)

• Examine various types of images, including x-rays, computer tomography (CT) scans, mammograms, ultrasounds, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans.
•  Operate the machinery used to collect these images, though this task is often delegated to radiology technologists. Radiologists.
•  Monitor imaging sessions run by radiologic technologists and technicians.
• Provide advice on types or quantities of radiology equipment needed to maintain facilities.
• Treat malignant internal or external growths by exposure to radiation from radiographs (x-rays), high energy sources, or natural or synthetic radioisotopes.
• Participate in quality improvement activities including discussions of areas where risk of error is high.
• Establish or enforce standards for protection of patients or personnel.
• Recognize or treat complications during and after procedures, including blood pressure problems, pain, over-sedation, or bleeding.
•  Prepare comprehensive interpretive reports of findings.
• Develop or monitor procedures to ensure adequate quality control of images.
• Coordinate radiological services with other medical activities.
• Communicate examination results or diagnostic information to referring physicians, patients, or families.
• Any other task deliver by ward in-charge or management

HealthNet TPO Afghanistan is providing Primary Health Care, Mental Health and psychosocial services, fighting malaria and supporting Mother & Child Health Care in terms of providing training for Community Midwifes and to conduct operation research. Health Net TPO is currently implementing projects in 22 provinces and the major program it implements are Malaria Control program, BPHS/EPHS, C-IMCI , CME, CHNE, public private partnership, nutrition and Mental Health and Psychosocial program through a community system strengthening approach.

• Graduated from Post-Graduation program (PGME) Specialization in Radiology Section.
• Two years experience in this field
• Use uniform while on duty.
• Be respectful and proper attitude against the clients, Supervisor and colleagues.
• Attending 24 Hours services as needed.
