  • Plan the provision of comprehensive reproductive health services, integrated in to primary health care. Identify and report immediately any problem which interfere in the delivery of services or in achieving the program objectives to his/her immediate supervisor Supervise health facilities on regular base. Improve family planning programs and in order to distribution contraceptive to the health facilities. Check, analyze RH and HMIS activities on monthly basis. Provide monthly report of RH  activities all BDN health facilities Prevent neonatal and maternal morbidity and mortality by providing clean delivery kits and avoiding complications by establishing a referral system. Improve safe mother-hood by giving on job training and conducting refresher training course. Improve management and recording of infertility. Create awareness in the people regarding the TT vaccine. Participate in RH taskforces and other working groups. Perform other duty assigned by immediate supervisor or Program Coordinator. Improve skills of staff and develop awareness in people regarding early detection of breast and cervical cancer. Develop awareness for mothers on breast-feeding, weaning food, EPI and malnutrition through health education sessions. Develop awareness in people regarding RTI /STDs and improve skills of staff on how to Manage RTI, STDs and prevention of HIV/aids. Improve management of menopause and pre-menopause.

Through implementing Emergency Response and Health System Preparedness (ERHSP) projects in Balkh, Baghlan and Takhar provinces, BDN also contributes to the fight against COVID-19 Pandemic. Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Graduated from recognized university as a Medical Doctor. At least two years experience in maternal and child health. Have knowledge of BPHS/EPHS is in advantage. Excellent communication skills. Fluently speaks reads and writes Dari,Pashto and Uzbek. Knowledge of English language. Strong interest in the development of health status in the community. Strong interpersonal, communication skills and code of conduct. Interest and ability to travel extensively in the field. Very good in adult training. Good computer knowledge. Being honest and committed to organizational goals.
