Job Description

Assignment.

  • Enhancement of Animal Husbandry production quality and values. Changing animals’ local husbandry   to better high value practices. Provide technical services for formers to improve Animal, Keeping, feeding, sanitation, Vaccination and breeding  Maintain Market linkage for producers. Facilitate participation of formers and cooperative members in Animal husbandry and production fairs.

General objectives of the position:

  • Animal Husbandry high practices High quality feeding, keeping and Health issues Marketing linkage and access.

  Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop an implementation plan for the program intervention. in livestock sector Provide veterinary and livestock extension services through the veterinarian extension staff to Supervises groups of community workers in the field Provides technical assistance in the veterinary and livestock extension field for the members of community development councils. Design a training plan and arrange and conduct training for different CBOs’ members in the veterinary and livestock extension activities. Making the reports for the project manager, agriculture and livestock coordinator and government officials. Participates in technical survey of projects. Monitors of the projects progress and contribute to project quality. improvement Performs other duties as assigned by project management

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Bachelor Veterinary Faculty. At least 3 years of progressive work experience in the similar roles. Excellent command on local languages plus English; Excellent knowledge of local languages Dari and Pashto Good English and computer skill is required Able to prioritize multiple tasks. Be punctual, on time, and able to meet deadlines.
